G.Miclo 2013

Located in Alsace, the G. Miclo distillery has been producing exceptional Alsatian single malts since 2011 using its Holstein stills. Equipped with plates, these machines produce a distillate of rare elegance. Round and oily but accessible, G. Miclo 2013 is a single malt that was aged for over 10 years, casked at low proof in a barrel that had previously contained Sauternes. The first independent bottling from this distillery, this whisky is released in a limited edition of 150 bottles, and features notes of quince, roasted peach, beeswax and marzipan.

Tasting Notes

Rich and fruity. Quince paste, honey, chamomile.
