Distillerie du Mont Blanc 2019
Located in La Motte-Servolex, the Mont Blanc distillery was founded in 1999 by Sylvain Chiron. It draws its spring water from an altitude of 2,074 metres on the Aiguille du Goûter. A blend of two varieties of barley and an ancient variety of wheat, this version was distilled in an Armagnac still. Aged first in a cognac cask, then in a bourbon cask, it was then finished in a vermouth cask.
Tasting Notes
Its highly dynamic range of aromas and flavours is a succession of fruity, spicy, milky and herbaceous sequences that have shaped its radiant, fully-fledged personality.
